Carol Jean Sorden, 93 of Washington, formally of Lone Tree, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Washington County Hospital in Washington.
Funeral Services have been set for 11:00 AM Monday, February, 9, 2015 at the United Presbyterian Church in Lone Tree. Burial will follow in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 Sunday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday at the Church. A memorial in the name of Carol Jean Sorden has been established to the American Diabetes Association.

Married Truman j Sorden on Sept. 16, 1943 in Spokane Washington.
She was a member of Eastern Star, Searchlight club, National TTT society, many card clubs and the United Presbyterian Church.
Surviviors include three sons, Stephen (Bonnie) of Lafayette Co. Thomas (Gretchen) of Brainerd Mn and William (Angel) of Creston Ia, four grandsons, four granddaughters and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents,husband, brother Hubert Essley, sister Mary Potratz and one grandson.
