Dora Erlenbush

Dora Mae Erlenbush, 87 of Washington, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington.
Funeral Services have been set for 10:30 AM Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington with Pastor Maureen Howard officiating. Burial will follow  at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with family present from 5-7:00 PM. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County.
Dora Mae Erlenbush was born August 21, 1926 in Gorin, Missouri, the daughter of Carl and Pearl (Baird) Riekedberg.  She was united in marriage to Ralph Erlenbush on January8, 1946.
Dora worked as a cashier in a variety of businesses, including Hy Vee and Fareway.  She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family, especially cooking for them.
Survivors include three children and spouses; John (Margene) Erlenbush of Ainsworth, IA, Kathleen (Lee) Johnson of Keller, TX, Don (Myrna) Erlenbush of Washington, IA, three grandchildren; Christi (Josh) Sands, Thad Johnson, Tyler Johnson, two great-grandchildren; Jenna and Haley Sands, one sister; Dorothy Harvey of Memphis, MO and one brother; Charles Riekedberg of Macomb, IL.
Preceding Dora in death were her parents, her husband and three brothers; Carl, Earl and Gene Riekedberg.
