Gail Ann Roder, 54, of Washington died at her home, Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with Fr. Bill Roush officiating. Family will receive friends from noon until service time. Memorials in the name of Gail Roder may be designated to the Holden Cancer Center.

Gail was born November 1, 1966 in Early, Iowa, the daughter of Roger and Ruth Lorraine (Kotz) Drey. She graduated from Crestland High School and Iowa Lakes Community College. She was united in marriage to Mike Roder on June 2, 1990 in Early, Iowa.

Gail was a self-employed daycare provider.  She enjoyed her family and loved spending time with them.

Survivors include her husband Mike of Washington; children Brian (Lauren) Roder of Kansas City, Kyle Roder of Cedar Falls, Michaela Roder of Waterloo, Matthew Roder of Ames; mother Lorraine of Early, Iowa; brothers, Steve (Jean) Drey of Storm Lake and Dean (Deb)  Drey of Early; sisters Laurie (Bill) Kinnetz of Emmetsburg and Lynn (Tod) Christensen of Johnston.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger.
