Harold Horak

A Resurrection Mass for Harold J. Horak, 87 of Kalona will be held Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at  10:30AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond with Father Marty Goetz officiating.  Burial will follow at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 28 from 4-6PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona where there will be a prayer service at 6:00PM.

A memorial fund has been established for the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  Harold died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.

Harold Joseph Horak was born November 2, 1924 in Kalona, Iowa the son of Joseph and Lydia (Wollrob) Horak.  He graduated from Kalona High School in 1943.  He farmed his entire life and was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Survivors include a number of cousins.

Preceding Harold in death were his parents.
