Hazel L. Burrows was born December 11, 1925 in Pollock, Missouri, the daughter of Bernice and Amel (Morelan) Kimes. As a child on the farm, Hazel loved riding horses and taking care of the sheep. She graduated from Moulton High School and on April 17, 1945 she was united in marriage to Wesley N. Burrows in Moulton, Iowa. Hazel was a member of the Church of The Nazarene and she and Wes enjoyed traveling to a number of nursing homes each month to sing and play the guitar for the residents. They also had a radio show on a station in Centerville and later on KCII in Washington.
Survivors include her husband, Wes of Kalona, three sons: Rayner (Pat) Burrows, David (Doreen) Burrows and Jerry (Tina) Burrows all of Kalona, a daughter in law, Kathy Rushlo of Phoenix, Arizona and nine grandchildren.
Preceding Hazel in death were her parents and her son James.

Dave sorry for your loss my prayers are with you and your family at this time. Did not know your mom but it sounds like she was a fun person to be around. she is at home now with God sounds like she will be playing her music and singing with him. you will never forget all the good things in life that you had with her.
