Kristopher Ennen

A celebration of life for Kristopher “Kris” J. Ennen, 28, of Brighton, will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. The family will greet friends from 1 – 2PM at the funeral home. A fundraising campaign has been created at beattyfuneralhome.com . Kristopher Ennen died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Washington County Hospital.

Kristopher Jeffrey Ennen was born April 22, 1990 in Sioux City, IA., the son of Jeffrey and Dee (Hatland) Ennen. He graduated from Cardinal Community High School and worked as a laborer. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, grilling, playing games and played sports in high school. Kris' greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his beloved daughter Maci

Survivors include his fiance' Chantelle Smith and their daughter Maci of Brighton, his mother Dee Hatland of Clarinda, his father Jeffrey (Amber) Ennen of Fairfield, seven siblings: Ryan Croft of Batavia, IA., Amanda (Derek) Lawrence, Emily Croft (Dave Smith) and Caleb Ennen (Bailey McClarnon) all of Clarinda, and Michael, Alexandria and Levi Ennen of Fairfield. Also surviving are his paternal grandparents Leroy (Alvena) Ennen of Lone Rock, IA., and are nine nieces and nephews.

Preceding Kris in death were his maternal grandparents Robert and Marie Jay.
