Dad and Leroy farmed together for many years so as a youngster I was around Leroy almost every day. I remember Leroy as a kind and gentle man. Leroy was a Massy Ferguson guy . I remember one time when I was 6 of 7 we were making hay at our place and Leroy lost his Redman chew in the hay field and he ask me to go and find it so I got on my bike and look for it, I found it being inquisitive I had to try it not knowing you werent supposed to swollo the stuff before I got to the barn I was sicker than a dog, he knew what I did and he just laughed. I used to baby sit for the kids when Leroy and Laverna went out for the evening. Leroy will be missed by family and friends. Rest in piece Uncle Leroy.
