Dear Janis, My mom let me know about the passing of your dad and I am so sorry to hear it. I have good memories of spending lots of time at your house in our elementary school years. Your dad was always so kind and welcoming to me--your little friend from a couple of blocks over! I just wish I could have known him more in my grown up years. I know you will miss him terribly. Praying for you and your family.... Marcia Frier Strattan

Dear Goff family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Maynard was such a gracious, kind and gentle man. We loved hearing his beautiful deep voice, especially when he sang "Mary Did You Know?" at Christmas time. He was much loved and we look forward to a joyful reunion but until then, he will be greatly missed. With deepest sympathy, Paul and Cindy Anderson and family

When our sons were in athletics at WHS, Maynard was often the bus driver to out of town events. We always loved visiting with him and he was always so interested in the teams and how they were doing. He was a kind, caring man. Still remember him from the days of Goff's Hardware and how much I enjoyed going into that store mainly because of he and Edith and the kind service they provided. Thinking of you with sympathy, Kaylene & Lynn Miller

Maynard was a gift to our family. He loved us all like we were his own and in that we became family. He will be deeply missed by me and my children who called him Papa Bus. I just talked to him on the phone last week and will cherish that last call! I was blessed to be able to visit him two weeks ago and I'm so glad I gave him a big hug!!
