Nancy Oldfield

A graveside service for Nancy K. (Barker) Oldfield, 70, of Wellman, will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Wellman Public Cemetery. A general memorial fund has been established. The Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family. Nancy Oldfield died Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Nancy Kay Oldfield was born June 5, 1950, in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Elsie (Ferguson) Barker. She graduated from Washington High School. On April 21, 1973, she was united in marriage to Douglas Oldfield in Mt.Zion, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband Douglas of Wellman, two sisters Marie (Gale) Carter of Hillsboro, Iowa, and Alice Barker of Fairfield, Iowa, niece Cindy Carter and nephew Randy Carter. Preceding Nancy in death were her parents, sisters Martha and infant Mary Beth, three brothers: Jim, John, and infant Jackie Barker.
