The LoganAs in Brazil are saddend with NinaAs passing. Ortrun worked with her at MillerAs in Kalona. They always had a great time. But in my youth I remember vividly Nina running around in the kitchen getting the sunday meal on the table. Always a gift to go there. Nina leaves alot of great memories.

My sincere condolences on your loss. We lived just a short way down the road from Nina, Vernon and family. I always admired Nina. She was always the same no matter where you saw her. I never had an opportunity to spend time with Nina, but I always felt close to her. She really was a very special sweet lady!

Thank You!!! for being my Grandma.I have outstanding and fond memories of spending time with my Grandma Nina at the thrift store sorting clothes, helping her bake and cook ( Yummy Fluff, Holiday Mix, poached eggs and cinnamon rolls), Iowa Christmas's,going to church with her and sitting next to her quilting. I cherish the quilt that was given to me that she made and Grandpa cut the quilt blocks for her. Many fun times at your house in Kalona. These are just a tiny portion of all my fond memories. Grandma Nina will very much be missed.Condolences to all the family members that are going through this rough time.Love~ Rebecca S. Townsend (Yoder) , Richard Townsend and Nyomi Avery.

To my Bontrager cousins,I am sorry to hear of the death of Aunt Nina. I have a few foggy memories of being at your home when we were visiting Kalona. She always seemed like such a "proper" lady with a pleasant disposition. Even though I can't be there, I will remember you in thought and prayer, knowing that the God of all comfort is with you.

To the Bender,Bontrage r and Yoder Families.I extend my sympathy on the death of Nina. I have stayed with Dale and Nina on different occassions when working at the Pleasant View Sale or the Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale. I have pleasant memories of their attendance at the WI Relief Sale in the 1990's. I apologize for not keeping in closer contact in recent years. I also have memories of Nina and her sister from their days at Miller's Hardware. May God Comfort You at this time. May your memories sustain you in the days ahead. Kalona has lost a gem. Peace
