Barbara Ann Gingerich

Barbara Ann Gingerich died Sunday, August 28, 2022, at her home in rural Kalona. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 9:30 AM at the Ben Ray Gingerich home: 1913 540^th Street SW, Kalona. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 – 8 PM and Tuesday from 10 AM to 7 PM at the Ben Ray Gingerich home. 

Barbara Ann Gingerich was born December 23, 1949, in Johnson County the daughter of Hermon and Malinda (Yoder) Gingerich. In her youth, she was baptized and became a member of the Old Order Amish Church and remained a faithful member until her death. 

She is survived by two sisters and one brother: Verba (Ephraim) Miller of Kalona, Katie Mae (Jerry) Gingerich of Kokomo, IN, Ben Ray (Anna Mary) Gingerich of Kalona, and six nephews and ten nieces, 47 great nieces and nephews, and one Uncle Melvin J. (Lydia) Yoder of Walnut Creek, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one niece Ruby Fern Gingerich, one great nephew Lavon Glen Miller, nine uncles, and five aunts.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughtfulness, presence, prayers, food, and support during her illness and death. Your love and support will long be remembered. May God bless you all.
