Flavio Martinez, Jr, 52, of Iowa City, died Monday, March 1, 2021, at his home in Iowa City. He will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
Flavio Martinez, Jr, was born October 30, 1968, in Mexicali, BC, Mexico, the son of Flavio and Angeline (Armenta) Martinez. He graduated from high school in San Diego, CA. Flavio attended Torre Fuerte Church in Iowa City. He enjoyed life; dancing, music, laughing and being with family and friends.
Survivors include his mother Luisa Gonzalez of Iowa City, six siblings: Miguel Arvizu and Claudia Moreno of Mexico, Cecilia Huesca and Maria Mendoza of Iowa City, Gloria Villatoro and Luisa Castro of Mexico, and 19 nieces and nephews.
Preceding Flavio in death were his parents.
