Frances Boese

A celebration of life for Frances M. Boese, 84 of Mt. Pleasant will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland, Iowa with Pastor Earl Swigart officiating. Burial will follow at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Cemetery in rural Wayland. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14 from 3- 7 PM at the Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland where the family will greet friends from 5 – 7 PM. A memorial fund has been established for the Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

Frances M. Boese died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

Frances Mae Boese was born September 21, 1928 in Washington, Iowa the daughter of Jacob and Ocie (Black) Boese. She was a member of the Lockridge Baptist Church and while living at the Jefferson County Care Facility she worked at Tempco assembling products. Frances enjoyed listeing to music, especially country western music, and knitting and crotcheting.

Survivors include her son; Leonard L. Boese of Mt. Pleasant, one sister; Dorothy Bartholomew of Washington, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Preceding Frances in death were her parents and one daughter; Marlene Kaye, two sisters; Mildred Boese and Edith Nordyke, and four brothers; Howard, Arthur, Dale and Alfred Boese.
