Gregory Alan Shull

Gregory Alan Shull, 71 of Mt. Pleasant, passed peacefully Monday, July 1, 2024, at his home, surrounded by family members from an extended illness. 

A celebration of his life will be at Noon, Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the fellowship hall at Bethel Church north of Wayland. His body has been cremated. Gathering and greeting the family will be 2 hours prior to the celebration. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice or Healing Heroes Homestead. 

Greg was born March 26, 1953, in Mt Pleasant, Iowa, the son of Glen A. and June A. (Miller) Shull.

He is survived by his wife Rita, one daughter Amanda (Jim) Marr; son Gregory Chad (Michelle); four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and another great-grandson due in October; brother Terry (Linda) Shull; sister-in-law Cindy Shull; brother-in-law Larry (Mary Patton) Donaldson, Ben (Ruth) Campbell, Mel Campbell and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Sonny and Jack; sister-in-law Cheryl Donaldson; in-laws Elsie and Barney Campbell and several aunts and uncles.
