Howard Hardy

Howard Elmer Hardy, 84 of Riverside, beloved husband and hero of Dolores, father of Carmen, Howard and adopted father of LeAnn, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a long illness.

He was born and lived his life in the Riverside area, and loved his family and the land. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War while stationed in Germany.

Howard is survived by his wife Dolores, son Howard and adopted daughter, LeAnn.

Preceding Howard in death was a stillborn daughter, Carmen.

Private family services are planned. Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
