Ivan Vallejo, Jr.

Ivan Vallejo, Jr., 65, of Kalona, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Aspire of Washington. He has been cremated, and no services are planned.

Ivan Vallejo was born August 3, 1959, in New York City, NY, the son of Ivan Vallejo Molina and Carmen Ramos. On November 5, 1977, he was united in marriage to Deborah in New York City. He worked as a cook, working most recently at the Pleasantveiw Home in Kalona. Ivan was a sports fanatic who enjoyed sports of all kinds. His sense of humor and love of life made him the type of person that people gravitated to, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife Deb, son Ivan (Serena) Vallejo, daughter Frances Vallejo, four grandchildren: Josiah, Deborah, Sarah and Nicole, his mother Carmen, and four siblings: Freddie, Emily, Melvin and Dency.

Preceding Ivan in death was his father.
