Jeremy "Bud" Wayne Gatlin

November 30, 1979 — October 14, 2022

Bud (Jeremy) W. Gatlin, 42, of Coralville, formerly of Kalona, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in rural Richmond, with Father Bill Roush officiating. The family will greet friends from 9 – 10:30 AM at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, on Monday. A general memorial fund has been established.

Jeremy Wayne Gatlin was born November 30, 1979, in Iowa City, the son of Donald and Jane (Rotenburger) Gatlin. He graduated from Mid-Prairie High School. On October 15, 2013, he was united in marriage to Veronica Vice in Iowa City. Bud enjoyed fishing, cars, music, jokes, and barbequing for the family on Sundays.

Survivors include his wife Veronica of Coralville, three daughters: Emily Witt (Chris Brown) of Iowa City, Larissa Kay Gatlin of Cedar Rapids, Kaitlyn Witt (Adam Boyd) of Tipton, one grandson Jaxson and his beloved dog Daisy, two sisters: Jeanny Gatlin and Samantha Lycke.

Preceding Bud in death were his parents and his grandson Keagan James.
