Lois (Hershberger) Brenneman  was born November 17, 1927 near Kalona, IA, the daughter of Daniel J and Mary (Helmuth) Hershberger.

She passed away July 3, 2011 at her home at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 16 days from a massive stroke.

Lois was united in marriage to Paul E. Brenneman on February 4, 1951.  They lived in matrimony 60 years and 5 months.

She was baptized in her youth in the Old Order Amish Church and remained a faithful member until her death.

Lois is survived by her husband Paul and three brothers: Tobias Hershberger and wife Anna of Bloomfield, IA, Isaac Hershberger of Riverside, IA, Henry Hershberger and wife Alma of Nappanee, IN, a sister-in-law, Wilma Hershberger of Sheridan, Oregon, a brother-in-law Jonas Kingsinger and wife Dorothy of Oakland, Maryland and many nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Reuben and two sisters, Ida Kingsinger and Katie Hershberger and a sister-in-law, Mary Edna Hershberger.

The family deeply appreciates the many acts of love, kindness and sympathy during this time of loss.

Also a special thank you to the Lavern and Susan Ropp family for giving us a home, care and assistance during our sunset years.
