Margaret Skinner

Margaret R. Skinner, 86, of Washington, formerly of Kalona, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington.  Ms. Skinner donated her body to the University of Iowa  Department of Anatomy and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Margaret R. Skinner was born January 6, 1928 in Burbank, California, the daughter of Marion C. and Mabel (Brasimer) Skinner.  Margaret was raised in California and then moved to Iowa 30 years ago.  She was a member of the Shiloh church and loved children.

Survivors include three sisters: Jo Dean of Pomonia, CA, Norma Butler of Kent, WA and Sharon Gillespie of Ridgrest, CA and three brothers: Albert (Pat) Skinner of Yakima, WA, Wesley (Kris) Skinner of Walla Walla, WA  and Buddy (Thelma) Skinner of Stockton, CA.

Preceding Margaret in death were her parents, four sisters and one brother.
