Mary Louise (Bombei) Walker, 88 of Washington, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Her body will be cremated and private family graveside services will be held at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery. A memorial in her name has been established to Sts. Peter and Paul Clear Creek Heritage Association. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with arrangements.
Mary Louise was born May 30, 1933 in Keota, IA the daughter of Henry Frank and Teresa Angela (Ott) Bombei. She was united in marriage to James F. Walker, August 5, 1954 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
She was a wife, mother, homemaker and was employed at Northrup King, Roth Deli and retired from the Hy Vee Deli in 1993. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading and 500 Rummy. The love of her life was her family.
Survivors include her children, Doug (Jacky) Walker of Washington, Vicky (Craig) Johnson of Washington, Annette (Russ) Kuhlemeier of Burlington, IA, Barbara Walker of Washington, Frank (Lyn) Walker of Wellman, Mary (Tim) Greiner of Washington and Brenda Walker and friend Joe Greiner of Wellman, IA; 10 grandchildren, Jared Walker, Jordan Martineze, Tracy Darbyshire, Spencer Walker, Jolee Walker, Olin Walker, Morgan Greiner, Sydney Greiner, Tyler Sieren and Madison Lou Sieren ;3 great-grandchildren Finn, Jayden and Brayleigh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, brothers, Raymond, Richard, Howard and Herbert, sisters, Marie Redlinger and Philomena Sheetz and infant brother Henry Robert.
