Merle Eugene Edwards

Merle E. Edwards, 81, of Sigourney, formerly of Kalona, died Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Windsor Manor Care Center in Sigourney. Per his wishes, he will be cremated, and no services will be held. The Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Merle Edwards was born January 1, 1941, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Merle and Julia (Hochstedler) Edwards. He was a factory worker all his life.

Preceding Merle in death were his parents and four siblings: Gerald Edwards, Patty Edwards, Sharon Randolf, and Milton Garrison.
