Michael Dean Carlin

Michael Dean Carlin, 50 of Coralville, died Saturday, November 16, 2024, at his home.

A celebration of his life will be at 11:00 AM, Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Marr Park near Ainsworth. The Beatty-Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Michael was born August 7, 1974, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Jack D. Barnes and Shirley A. Carlin. 

He was employed with Kalona Plastics in the past. He enjoyed working and tinkering with cars, RC cars, camping and being outdoors and especially time with his family.

Survivors include his mother Shirley Carlin of Washington, sons Dakoda Carlin and Matt Entsminger; daughter Heaven Palmer; sister April Dickerson; six grandchildren; aunts and uncles, Ray and Sue Carlin, Robert Carlin, Della Stafford, Mark Bringman and Steve Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, father and uncle Larry.
