Muriel I. (Zook) Draper, 84, of Littleton, Colorado, passed from this life on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Advent Health Care Center in Littleton, Colorado. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Glennon Heights Mennonite Church in Lakewood, Colorado. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the East Union Cemetery north of Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center and Glennon Heights Mennonite Church. The Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Muriel Ilene Draper was born March 8, 1942, in Kalona, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Mildred (Gingerich) Zook. She graduated from Kalona High School and received her Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree from Goshen College. On May 16, 1970, she was united in marriage to Ronald Draper in Denver, Colorado. She was a member of the Glennon Heights Mennonite Church. Muriel enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening, and in her retirement, she participated in healing touch.

Survivors include her stepchildren: Robert (Becky) Draper of Arvada, Colorado, Valerie Hadlock of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two sisters: Dorothea (Robert) Moberly of Wellman, Iowa, Gloria Zradicka of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; one nephew Doug (Jill) Moberly and niece Lisa (Greg) Schmidt.

Preceding Muriel in death were her parents, her husband Ronald, stepson Douglas Draper and stepson-in-law Carroll Hadlock.
