Patrick "Pat" Michael Rhines, 72, of Washington Iowa passed Thursday, February 12th, 2026 at his home.

Beatty -Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting with cremation services. No other services have been scheduled.

Pat was born September 14, 1953, the son of Gayle "Bud" Edward and Darlene Lois (Slick) Rhines. He graduated high school and attended college. He served in the US Air Force and was stationed in Seattle, Washington and Biloxi, Mississippi. In his earlier years, he loved golfing, riding his Harley Davidson, being the life of the party, and making people laugh.

Survivors include: three daughters, Melissa (Greg) MacTaggart, Heather Rhines (Ricardo Lozano), and Bridget (Chris) Tompkins; five grandchildren, Vedder Mactaggart, Daxton Mactaggart, Ryker Mactaggart, Aaliyah Lozano and Cruz Lozano; two brothers, Dan Rhines and Harry Rhines; and special friends Ryan Maschmann and Mariah Maschmann.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Joe Rhines and Jim Rhines.
