Pedro Tafolla-Dominguez, 43 of Washington, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday, June 16, 2012 at St. James Catholic Church in Washington with Fr. Troy Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 4-7:00 PM Friday at the Beatty Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at 6:30 PM Friday. A general memorial in the name of Pedro Tafolla-Dominguez has been established.
Pedro was born October 14, 1968 in La Piedad Michoacan, Mexico the son of Javier and Alicia Dominquez-Ayala Tafolla. He was united in marriage to Blanca Torres on September 30, 1989.
Survivors include his mother Alicia of Mexico; wife Blanca of Washington; children Pedro Ulises Tafolla, Esbeidi Ruby Tafolla and Deyanira Tafolla all of Washington; Patricia Tafolla of Crete, NE, Laura Cabrera of AK and Maria Guadalupe Tafolla of Washington; one grandson Damian.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother Javier Tafolla.
