Robert TeBockhorst

Robert J. TeBockhorst, 91, died Monday, February 19, 2018 at his home in Riverside. His body has been cremated and a service will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for Richmond Am-Vet Post #107. The Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona is assisting with arrangements.

Robert John TeBockhorst was born November 20, 1926, the son of Leo and Mary (Shalla) TeBockhorst. He graduated from Kalona High School and was drafted into the United States Army in February of 1945. Bobby was a painter and worked with his brother at TeBockhorst Painting for many years, was a fur buyer and also farmed. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Richmond Am-Vet Post #107. Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to the casino. Survivors include 13 nieces and nephews.

Preceding Robert in death were his parents and four siblings: Norbert TeBockhorst, Bernadette Pribyl, June Allen and Richard TeBockhorst.
