Ronald Draper

Ronald William Draper was born June 1, 1938 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Frank Nathan and Ruby Hamilton (Smith) Draper. He graduated from North High School in Denver in 1956. Ron served in the United States Navy from 1957 – 1961, stationed in Anaheim, CA., where he worked as an airplane mechanic. After his service he was employed in electrical power distribution and was part of Local Union #111. On May 16, 1970 he was united in marriage to Muriel Zook in Denver, CO. Ron enjoyed being outside, building his garden and fish pond and listening to the birds.

Survivors include his wife Muriel of Denver, CO., his son Robert (Becky) Draper of Arvada, CO., his daughter Valerie Hadlock of Oklahoma City, OK.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Preceding Ron in death were his parents, a son Douglas, a son-in-law Carroll Hadlock and one sister Doris.

A memorial fund has been established for the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Research Center. Ronald W. Draper passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2018 in Denver, CO.
