Roy George Carney

Roy G. Carney, 66, of Kalona, died suddenly on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

A funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. The service will be available via Livestream on the Beatty Peterseim Facebook page. Burial will follow at the Shiloh Nutmeg Cemetery in rural Kalona. The family will greet friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday.

 Roy George Carney was born December 6, 1955, in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of Charles Jennings and Florence (Greene) Carney. He graduated from high school and held a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Divinity from Shiloh University.

Survivors include his sister Pam (Chip) Kunkle of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and his church family.

Preceding Roy in death were his parents and one brother Charles Jennings Carney, Jr.
