Scott A. Wagg

Scott A. Wagg, 59, of Washington, died June 29, 2023, at the Washington County Hospital and Clinics. His body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held 5:30 PM, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 2351 290^th St. Washington, IA. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Harrison Cemetery in Wapello, IA. The Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Scott was born August 7, 1963, the son of Jack Leroy Sr. and Louise Kay Wagg. He graduated from Winfield Mt. Union High School in 1982. He worked for various concrete and construction companies. After receiving his CDL he worked as a semi driver. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and being a jokester. Scott didn’t know a stranger and enjoyed spending time with friends.

Survivors include two sisters: Sheila (Tod) Fischer of Morning Sun, IA, Madelon Ruble of Wayland, MO, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Scott in death were his parents and brother Jack “Lee” Jr.
