Celebration of life services for Steffany Arlene Rawls, 35, of West Chester will be Wednesday Oct. 15, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona. Burial will be in the West Chester Cemetery, West Chester, IA, at a later date.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 4-6 at the Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona. A vigil service will begin at 4:00 P. M on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Steffany died in West Chester on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
Steffany Arlene Swartzendruber was born October 19, 1978 in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Kathy Raymond Peiffer and Dave Swartzendruber. She graduated from Mid-Prairie High School. Steffany loved animals and enjoyed cooking and reading cookbooks.
Survivors include her daughter, Ryleigh Ann Swartzendruber, her mother Kathy Raymond Peiffer of West Chester and her father and stepmother, Dave and Deb Swartzendruber of Riverside and her husband, James Rawls of Big Springs, TX. Other survivors are her sister, Kristi (Shane) Smith of Ladora, Iowa and brother Ryan (Julie) Swartzendruber of Skokie, IL, and a number of cousins and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Steffany in death were her grandparents.
A memorial fund has been established for her daughter, Ryleigh.
