Steven Michael Burkholder

Steven Michael Burkholder, 72, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, September 19, 2022, at his home. A private family graveside service will be held at Bethel Cemetery in rural Wayland.

Steven Michael Burkholder was born February 21, 1950, the son of Stanley and Elsie (Reschly) Burkholder. He graduated from WACO in 1969 and was a state wresting champion. He enjoyed collecting baseball and football cards.

Survivors include three children, Stephanie (Craig) Land of Cedar Rapids Michael Burkholder of Iowa, and James Burkholder of MN.; Three grandchildren, Payton, Kaiden, and Jaedyn; five siblings, Dwain (Kathleen) Burkholder of Ocala, FL, Jean (William) Molander of Weeki Wachee, FL, Warren Burkholder of Marion, IA, Suzanne (Sam) Smith of Columbus Junction, IA, Marlene (Scott) Carver of Trenton.

Preceding Steven death were his parents.
