Teresa "Terry" Jo Weller

Teresa “Teri” Jo Weller, 64, of Washington, passed from this life on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Parkview Home in Wayland. She has been cremated, and no services are planned at this time. Memorial funds may be directed to Hospice of Washington County or the American Red Cross. The Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Terry was born on October 30, 1961, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Darrell and Carol (Malwitz) Jurgens. She graduated from Iowa City West High School and attended Kirkwood's nursing program. In April of 1989, she was united in marriage to Mike Weller at St. James Catholic Church. The couple later divorced. Terry enjoyed traveling and art.

Survivors include two children: Austin Weller of Washington, and Micaela Weller of Washington, her parents, Darrell and Carol Jurgens of North Liberty, three sisters: Kim Jurgens of North Liberty, Lisa Jurgen of Florida, Stacy Harney of Lone Tree, and her ex-husband, Mike Weller of Washington.
