William(Billy) Krofta

William(Billy)John Krofta, 68, of Marshalltown, formerly of Oxford, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Iowa Veteran's Home in Marshalltown.  The body has been cremated and no services will be held.  The Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona is handling Mr. Krofta's arrangements.

William John Krofta was born September 18, 1947, the son of William and Martha (Wiebold) Krofta, Sr.  He graduated from Oxford High School and served his country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968, then serving in the United States Army Reserves until 1973.

William was preceded in death by his parents.
